This Privacy Policy explains how Fstvly, Inc. ("we," "us," "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Fstvly mobile app (the "App").
1. Information We Collect
Account information. When you create an account, we collect your email address and password (handled securely by our authentication provider, Supabase — we never see or store your raw password).
Profile information. Name, profile photo, bio, business name (for vendors/organizers), and any other information you choose to add to your profile.
Location data. With your permission, we collect your device's location to show nearby events on the map and power location-based search. You can disable location access at any time in your device settings; some features (like "events near me") won't work without it.
Payment information. When you purchase tickets, payment is processed by our payment provider, Stripe. We do not store your full card number — Stripe handles that directly. We do store a record of the transaction (amount, ticket details, and a Stripe payment reference ID) to confirm your purchase and provide support.
Content you create. Chat messages, comments/reviews, and photos you upload or share within the App.
Event and booking data. Events you create or organize, RSVPs, ticket purchases, staffing applications, and vendor bookings.
Usage and device data. Basic technical information (device type, OS version, app version) and crash/error reports, collected via our error-monitoring provider, Sentry, to help us fix bugs.
Communications. If you contact us for support, we keep a record of that correspondence.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information above to: create and manage your account; process ticket purchases and payments; show you relevant events based on your location; enable communication between you and other users (chat, event coordination); send transactional emails (ticket confirmations, password resets) via our email provider, Resend; send push notifications about bookings, invitations, and event updates (you can opt out in Settings); detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, and violations of our Terms of Service; diagnose and fix technical problems; and improve the App.
We do not sell your personal information.
3. How We Share Your Information
We share information with other users, as part of normal App functionality — e.g., your name/profile photo is visible to people you chat with, organizers can see who RSVPs or applies for staffing positions, and profile/vendor information you mark public is visible to other users browsing the App.
We share information with service providers who help us operate the App: Supabase (database, authentication, backend infrastructure), Stripe (payment processing), Resend (transactional email delivery), and Sentry (crash and error monitoring).
We may share information with law enforcement or other parties when required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of Fstvly, our users, or others, and in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
4. Your Choices
Location — you can disable location permissions in your device settings. Notifications — you can disable push notifications in the App's Settings. Blocking — you can block other users from contacting you or seeing your content; see the App's Settings for details. Account deletion — you can delete your account at any time from Settings. This permanently removes your profile information; some data (like transaction records) may be retained as required for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention purposes.
5. Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active, or as needed to provide you the App's services. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal information within 30 days, except where we're required to retain it (e.g., financial transaction records for tax/legal compliance).
6. Children's Privacy
Fstvly is not directed at children under 13 (or the relevant minimum age in your region), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at ngozigaskins@gmail.com and we will delete it.
7. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections and access controls on our database. No system is completely secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We'll notify you of material changes through the App or by email.
